Edward Richard Gully Jr.

life story

Edward passed away at the age of 76 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids MN.

He was born on January 18, 1945, in Whapeton ND. to father Edward Gully Sr. and mother Amelia.

He graduated High school and continued as a proud soldier in the United States Army from 1962-1965. Edward enjoyed his many interests and spent many years as an electrician starting his own business, Gully’s electric. He was active in the community, and was invested in making it a better place to be. He spent many hours building what is now the American legion in St. Francis which was originally a gym. He loved to spend time with his boys talking, working on cars, boats and anything the kids needed help with. He devoted many nights at his house and workshop tinkering, or sometimes just watching the wildlife wandering across his property.

Edward was preceded in death by his father Edward Gully Sr. And mother Amelia.

A memorial and lunch will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 12 noon.

A private burial service will be held at Fort Snelling in the Spring.
