life story

Ed Schmidt, age 74, was born on January 19, 1952. He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his service to his country, and his memorable stories.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; his daughter, Angie Jonas and her husband, Matt; his son, Timothy Brown and his wife, Stacie; and his beloved grandchildren, Forrest, Sarah, Tyler, Ryan, Jameson, Mason, and Miller.

Ed was a Vietnam veteran who loved driving, spending time at the cabin, and being in his Bobcat.

He was caring, generous, and always willing to help family and friends. Ed had a one-of-a-kind personality and plenty of stories, including the time he walked into a bar and walked out owning it.

Ed will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
