Edith Nell Krueger

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 Edith Krueger, age 85, passed away at Our Lady of Peace Hospice, St. Paul, Minnesota. Edith Nell Rischmueller was born on January 31, 1936 in Honey Creek Township, Wisconsin to parents Oscar F. and Emma A. (Wawrok) Rischmueller. Edith lived on the family farm until she married Kenneth. She was the wife of an Airforce Serviceman, a homemaker and a mother. The military life gave opportunities to live and visit different parts of the world and the US. When her children were of school age she worked outside the home. She worked in the fields at Gurney's Seed & Nursery. At Raven Industries, she sewed parachutes for military and other government agencies. Edith retired from McKechnie Plastics Components Corp in 2001. Edith divorced in 1974 and moved to Minnesota to help and be near her daughter, son in-law and grandsons. She married late husband George in 1982. Edith and her husband retired to a kinder climate in 2001. They moved to North Carolina to help and be near her son, daughter in-law and granddaughters. Edith recently moved back to Minnesota in 2021 where she lived with her daughter and son in-law.

Edith was nurturing, meticulous and selfless. She enjoyed to sew, refurbish items for a purpose and work in the yard.

Preceded in death by Husband George, Parents Oscar and Emma (Wawrok) Rischmueller, Sister in-laws Diane and Alice, Siblings Myrna and Dean, Father of her children Kenneth.

Survived by Siblings Clair (Marilyn) and Donald, Children Deberah (Jerry) Duerkop and Thomas (Alice) St.Clair, Stepchildren Linda (Steve) Boll, Angela and their families, Grandchildren Chad (Angie), Joshua, Courtney and Brittney, Great Grandchildren Ryan, Colin and Natalie, Nephews David, Scott, Targe and their families.
