A Loving Dad

Dwayne passed away of cardiac arrest in St. Paul Minnesota on September 11,2026. Dwayne enjoyed sports, playing video games with his sons , classic hip hop a r&b ,dominoes and spades, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He treasured the moments shared with the people he loved and brought warmth and kindness to those around him.

About Dwayne Terrell Hicks

He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and and he graduated from Chicago Vocational High school. He moved up to Minnesota soon after with Jeryl. Dwayne was a kind and hardworking man who dedicated more than 30 years of his life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He touched many lives while working at several facilities, including Sholom Home East, Ramsey County Nursing Home, and Lyngblomsten. His compassion, patience, and genuine concern for others reflected the caring person he was.
