Duane "Hacksaw" Bradshaw

Duane Kent "Hacksaw" Bradshaw, age 78, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away on January 1, 2023 in hospice care at Parmly on the Lake in Chisago, Minnesota. Duane was born July 28, 1944 in Arkansaw, Wisconsin to parents Harvey and Violet (Sandvig) Bradshaw. He served in the Army during the Vietnam war and afterwards moved to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On March 11, 1974 he married Carla (Lenda) Magnus, raised two children together, and later divorced. Duane lived in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and worked for the Paving Mix Construction Company for more than 25 years. After retiring he moved to Frederic, Wisconsin. Duane enjoyed country music, playing guitar, fishing, hunting, and bowling. Duane is survived by his children Pamela Mulder of Tiffin, IA, and Duane Bradshaw of Oak Creek, 5 grandchildren, sisters Sharon (Glenn) Wakefield and Kathleen Bradshaw of Ellsworth, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Bradshaw, mother, Violet Biles, brothers Richard Bradshaw, Donald Bradshaw, and Warren Bradshaw; sisters Valerie Bradshaw and Eunice Bradshaw, and former wife, Carla Magnus. To honor Duane's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
