Douglas Raymond Jewison of Nevis, MN, passed away at the age of 49 on Wednesday February 9, 2022.

Doug was born on November 20, 1972 in Edina, MN to Sharon and Jim Jewison. After graduating from Kimball High School, he went on to be an ASC certified Mechanic and Master Electrician, leading him to open his business, “Rapid Cabin Service”.

In 1992, Doug met Carmen Kleene and they married in 1996, going on to have three children: Zach (25), Megan (22), and Hunter (22).

Doug was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Zach, Hunter, and Megan, and always tried to support them.

Doug was also passionate about fishing, boating, anything outdoors, and tinkering around with old machines. Doug was a Jack-of-all-trades guy; there was nothing that he couldn’t fix, build, or McGyver.

Doug was predeceased by his father, Jim Jewison. He is survived by his wife Carmen; his children Zach, Megan, and Hunter; his mom Sharon and his step-dad Tom; his sister Jessie; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
