life story

Proceeded in death by parents Vernon & Helene Chapel, brothers Ken & Mike. Survived by Nancy (wife of almost 50 years) and daughters Jessica (Eric) and Melinda (Nick).

Graduate of the University of Minnesota.

He served his country in the Army for 13 years, then worked in the printing industry at Banta St Paul, and finished his working years at the Minnesota Dept of Revenue.

He was an avid angler and spent many happy hours fishing, until his medical issues curtailed his activities. He was a major Twins fan, and also a member of the Friends of the Fair Foundation. In retirement he took up backyard birding and enjoyed auditing classes at the U of M.

Memorials preferred to the Scleroderma Foundation.

He will always remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
