Donna Rose Purdy, affectionately known as Cookie Donna, passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on May 12, 1948, in Oxford, Nova Scotia, Canada, she spent her final years in Tatamagouche, NS.

Donna was a loving mother to her daughter, Ann Boyd, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Josie and Kaylee. She was known for her happy-go-lucky personality and her ever-present smile, which brought joy to everyone around her. Donna lived a beautiful life surrounded by love, leaving a lasting impact through her immense kindness and affection.

An enthusiastic crib player, Donna enjoyed watching shows with her friends and found great joy in simple pleasures, such as sipping her favorite tea while watching the sunrise. She had a sweet tooth and always savored something sweet after a nice supper. Her love for bluegrass and gospel music enriched her life and the lives of those she shared it with.

Donna often inspired others with her favorite saying, "If you think you can, you will," a testament to her positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.
