Donna Marie Annonson, 87, of Debs, MN died Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1937, in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Abner and Myrtle (Henke) Annonson. She was raised in her grandmother’s log home East of Debs, MN. She attended Debs and Deer Lake Elementary Schools, and Bemidji High School. She was orphaned at 9 years old, struggled with a difficult childhood being moved from household to household. She finally moved to Milwaukee, WI, finding work in garment manufacturing. She enjoyed vacations back home in Minnesota as well as trips to San Francisco to visit with her brother. A very quiet woman, one often found her reading a good novel. She especially enjoyed watching old westerns, she loved the cowboy image. After a brief illness, she moved to Minnesota into her niece Paula’s care. She passed away peacefully at the Annonson homestead.

She is survived by four nieces, and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Dorothy and Ramona, brothers Allen and Ronald, two nephews, and one niece.
