Don lived for his kids and grandkids. Whether he was inviting everyone to his home in Mora to barbecue and play with 4-wheelers, or he was showing up unexpectedly with his lunch box full of candy bars. The love that he had for his family was undeniable and felt by all.
About Don
Don, a lifelong resident of MN, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on April 27th, 2021 surrounded by his immediate family.
Don spent much of his life building his business, Don's Delivery Service. When he wasn't working, he found time for many hobbies including wood-working, welding, auto mechanics, boating and four wheeling. He shared many of these hobbies with his kids and grandkids who loved to tear up his yard on the wheelers.
His children share many memories of camping trips, ice skating at the neighborhood rink, sledding at Knox Hill, coaching their baseball teams, epic neighborhood bonfires, family kickball games, secret trips to Dairy Queen, swimming in the backyard pool and countless other unforgettable adventures.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Niel and Marjorie, his nephew David Jr, and his granddaughter Kailey. He is survived by his (ex) wife Lisa Douglas and their 4 children: Derek, Hannah (Keith), Heather (Aaron), Jake (Katie) and 10 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Ella, Lily, Karisa, Lilah, Aubrey, Khloe, Jack, Lincoln and Sawyer. He is also survived by his brothers Dennis (Kate) and David (Diane) and his sisters Deb (David) and Diane.

A celebration of life service will be held for the close family and friends of Don. He was not a fan of dressing up, so please dress casually. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
