Dee went home peacefully to be with our Lord. She will be missed by so many friends and family.

About Dee

Dee loved her life with her husband Jim in Eatonton, GA. She had a passion for raising and training search and rescue dogs, loved singing in the church choir, enjoyed sailing in Florida, was a certified pilot, a talented painter and had many many close friends. Dee spent a few years dedicated to caring for Jim during his prolonged illness. Jim passed away in March 2012. After some time living on her own, Dee decided to move back to Minnesota to be close to her family. She spent the last three years of her life living at 'The Lakes' with her dog 'Sunny' in Stillwater. Her bright spirit, positive attitude, and zest for life was an inspiration to many staff and residents there.

Dee is survived by her children; Chuck Jr. (Joni), Bob (Judy), Mike, Chris (Dawn), Stepson Jim Jr. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Graveside memorial service will be planned for the spring in Eatonton, GA (date TBD). Dee absolutely loved the springtime in Georgia when the flowers would start to bloom.
