Diane Lynn Pajunen

April 27, 1955 – November 7, 2021

St Paul, MN, USA

Diane Lynn (Kramer) Pajunen died early Sunday morning, November 7, in her Assisted Living in

Maplewood, MN, after a battle with cancer. She was 66.

She worked for several years as a Financial Applications Analyst for Patterson Companies, Inc.

of St. Paul and, before that, for Land O Lakes, Minneapolis, MN.

She was born April 27, 1955, to Fred and Mary Kramer of Fort Wayne, IN, where she was raised,

and graduated from New Haven High School, New Haven, IN. After graduation, she took drafting classes, and key punch training—a precursor to the computer training she would later use in her professional life--and worked briefly at BF Goodrich in New Haven, where she met her husband Perry, who predeceased her in 1991.

Diane was a talented painter and visual artist throughout her life. She was also an avid biker

and team bowler, and she loved decorating cookies and spending vacations traveling the country and the world with her friends. In her spare time, she worked on her beloved old house in St. Paul—both a hobby and a necessity.

She is survived by her son Matt Pajunen, who lives in Duluth, MN; by her four siblings: Mike Kramer, Maureen (Kramer) Houck, and Gene Kramer, all of Fort Wayne, and Susan (Kramer) O’Neill, of Brooklyn, NY; several nieces and nephews; her two loyal cats, and a battery of loving friends in and around St. Paul.

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined. Donations in her name can be made to Free Bikes 4 Kids MN, on their website: https://fb4kmn.org/
