life story

Forever in Our Hearts

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller

She was our "HONEY".

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, Diane “Honey” Fogarty, who peacefully left us on March 3, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of Jim and Elaine Mannarino, who preceded her in death.

Diane was the heart and foundation of our family. She was a devoted wife to Patrick Fogarty, a loving and selfless mother to Lori Ayon (Ricardo) and Lisa Casci (Nathan), and a proud, doting grandmother to Maddie Schoenecker, Carlee Schoenecker, Joe Schoenecker, and Benjamin Ayon. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her nurturing spirit filled our lives with warmth, joy, and unwavering support. Diane always put others before herself, and her heart was open to everyone. Her unconditional love, empathy, and patience touched everyone who knew her.

Diane had a rare ability to make everyone feel truly loved and valued. She always knew what to offer, whether through a listening ear, a comforting word, or simply her calming presence. Her patience was a quiet strength, and her care and understanding for others were apparent in every interaction. Diane had a gift for seeing the good in everyone and making them feel special, as though they were the most important person in the room. Her kindness and empathy were boundless, making her beloved by all who encountered her.

Her home was a sanctuary where everyone was welcomed with open arms, and there was always a place at the table for those in need. She made everyone feel like family, creating an environment of unconditional love and acceptance. Diane’s spirit was one of warmth and light, and her legacy will live on in the countless memories she leaves behind.

A woman of deep faith, Diane’s unwavering belief in God guided her through all aspects of her life. Her faith was evident in everything she did, in her actions, kindness, and endless compassion for those around her. Her belief in His love gave her strength, and she shared it generously, teaching us the importance of love, patience, and devotion.

Diane was also a passionate lover of nature, finding peace and fulfillment in caring for her plants, animals, and birds. Her garden was a sanctuary where life thrived under her gentle care. She shared a special bond with animals, treating them with the same love and tenderness she showed to her family and friends. Birds, too, held a special place in her heart, and their songs will always remind us of her peaceful and loving presence.

While our hearts ache with the loss of such a beautiful soul, we take comfort in knowing that Diane’s love, patience, empathy, and faith will continue to guide us. Her spirit will forever shine brightly in the lives of those she touched, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love, compassion, and kindness.
