Diane Christine DeBella, 70, Akeley, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Diane was born January 20, 1953 to Stanley and LaVerne (Krukas) Nasakaitis in Chicago, IL. She grew up

in Chicago and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1971.

She was employed by the United States Postal Service for 24 years, retiring in 2015. She also worked several years at Gas Service, National Propane and Northern lights Casino.

Diane was a very loving, caring, and strong woman who always put others before herself. Tammy, Mike, and her dogs were her world. She cared for everyone she knew. She loved her dream home and lake life.

She enjoyed pontooning, her yard filled with flowers & hummingbirds and everything the warmer weather would bring. She truly enjoyed her time with her family and friends and all the adventures they went on. Diane is deeply missed by her loved ones who pray her memory lives on in all that knew her.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Tammy DeBella of Akeley; partner, Michael Aker of Akeley; sister-in-law, Betty Carrillo of Hickory Hills, IL; nieces, Nicole Carrillo-Keane, Lauren Carrillo; great niece, Faye Spiels; fur babies, Hunter and Shya DeBella of Akeley; many cousins and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and LaVerne Nasakaitis; grandmother, Emily Krukas; brother, Glenn Nasakaitis.
