A Loving Father and an Amazing Grandfather

On August 18, 2022 my dad went peacefully home to my mother (Maria) in his sleep, where I know she greeted him with open arms and a smile. My dad taught me to never take life too seriously and continue to be yourself regardless of what others have to say. He was an amazing grandfather and the coolest friend. He was a hard worker and never missed an opportunity to get a job done. He will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria Springer, his sister Jenny Springer and his father Nelson Glaude.

He is survived by a son Keenen Springer, a daughter Teal Edwards (Westley), and two beautiful grandchildren Kai and Koda Edwards.

He is also survived by his loving mother Gloria Springer, and his siblings Alvin Springer, Hazel Springer Williams (Denton), Garth Springer, Gerard Springer, Richard Springer, Shean Springer, and Camille Gordon Fanfair (Carl). He also had 37 nieces and nephews.

I wanted to remind you all, if you love someone tell them often, tell them now. If you love someone hold them tighter and hug them now, don’t wait until next time. If you love someone be there, be present when you are with them always. This is your reminder that tomorrow is not promised so show up for them TODAY.
