Derrick Lynn English, age 63, tragically passed away due to kidney and heart failure at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN on 11/06/22.

Derrick was born April 2, 1959 in Chicago,Illinois to Doris Gene Johnson. Derrick is the baby of the 2 children.

Derrick was a very determined man and father he served in the Military and also further his education. He always pushed his children to continue their education, be good citizens and to believe in God.

He loved to do activities like play baseball, volleyball, and family gatherings as a family and with his children. He was married to Lolita English for 20+ years, Meeting in Chicago then moved to Minnesota to give their children a better opportunity .

On his dying bed all he wanted was to see all his children, grandchildren, and family. The most memorable was getting an unexpected visit from his nephew Toki Wright who lives in Boston, MA.

Derrick leaves behind to cherish his memory: His 7 Children:

(Step-Daugther) Latrice Petty & Son-in-law Dennis Petty, Givanni English, Tiarra English, Lalita English, Derrick L English Jr., Dontaye’ English,Tamika English. Sister Tiny Wright, Sister-in-law Betty Hogue, Uncle Bubba Jones, Cousins: Nichelle Donald, Terry Jones, and several others. Along with 15+ grandchildren.
