Dennis H. Flanagan

It is with sadness that our family shares the passing of Dennis Flanagan, age 81, of Apple Valley, Minnesota. He passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, surrounded by his family, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dennis spent his early years on a farm in Sebeka, Minnesota with his parents and siblings. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later attended the University of Minnesota. He then worked for over 35 years as a driver for United Parcel Service.

Dennis was an avid softball player for over 50 years. Many family trips revolved around tournaments in different states, and he even continued playing on a team while wintering in Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ruthe Flanagan, and his sister Sharon. He is survived by his wife, Marian, his children Wendy Flanagan and Terry (Heidi) Flanagan; his grandchildren Max, Abby, and Ally; his sister Lois (Alvin) Stecker, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

We are having a private family burial with military honors. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life for Dennis. Please reach out to family members for details.
