Debra Mary (Bain) Tracewell

Debra M. Bain, 62, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, died Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at United Hospital in Saint Paul, after a long illness.

Born in Saratoga, New York on June 11, 1960, she was the daughter of Avery and Lillian Bain. Debra grew up in Greenwich, New York and graduated Greenwich Central High School with the class of 1978. She relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota, in her late 20's, where she raised her daughter. She worked several years as a staffing coordinator for a health care organization, before retiring early due to illness.

"Debbie" as most knew her, had a passion for music. Playing guitar and singing brought her pleasure. Faith uplifted and strengthened her when she weathered life's storms. Time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren, mattered most.

Besides her parents, she leaves one daughter, Jeanna Bain; six grandchildren, Jaydah Bain, Damarieyea Bain, Mya Bain, Jayden Bain, Michael McCreary, Jahseh McCreary; siblings, Melody Cormier and husband David, Timothy Bain and wife Becky, Shirley Norton, Michelle McReynolds and husband Patrick, Stephen Bain; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Pepper, who's companionship she was grateful for.

Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
