David Skalicky

David was a lifelong resident of Columbia Heights, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Elaine Skalicky and his sister Jean Beales.

My brother David was an HVAC Journeyman and distinguished himself by providing an exceptional level of perfectionism to every job he worked on. He excelled at anything he wanted to accomplish and his siblings, parents and friends benefited from his generous nature. He helped his family with their home improvement and HVAC needs and no project was too difficult for David. He was an avid reader and taught himself how to build and fix anything. Whether it was installing a terrazzo floor, custom building kitchen cabinets and drafting tables, retiling a fireplace, repairing an engine, or canning the garden tomatoes, David welcomed the challenge.

David died shortly after learning he had throat cancer.
