David Mark Jorstad, 59, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

He was born on April 21, 1962, in Bemidji, MN, the son of Dick and Audrey (O’Beirne) Jorstad. He was raised and educated in Bemidji, graduating from Bemidji High School in 1980.

He attended the Bemidji Vo-Tech and earned a degree in Auto Mechanics, before going on to attend Bemidji State University and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. He worked for many years with his Dad at Dick’s North Side in Bemidji, MN.

He was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and water skiing.

He is survived by his: Wife, Joani Jorstad of Bemidji,

Children, Nick (Sarah Erklouts) Jorstad of Bemidji,

Cassie Jorstad of Bemidji,

Siblings, Dick (Diane Wright) Jorstad of Bemidji,

Tim (Deb) Jorstad of San Rafael, CA,

Carol (Ross) Buxton of Palmer, AK,

Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dick and Audrey Jorstad, and his brother Michael Jorstad.
