David James Kohrman, died unexpectedly on January 20, 2024. David was born January 6, 1966, in Fort Wayne, IN, and was preceded in death by his parents James and Janet (Hardgrove) Kohrman. He graduated from Apple Valley High School and received his nursing degree from Minneapolis College. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve. David touched the lives of many as a Registered Nurse in Research at the VA, Davita and U of M Physicians over the last 20 years. David will be deeply missed by his siblings: Malissa, Craig (Jeanne), Jeffrey (Jenny), and Celia (Hector); nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends who love him. David enjoyed blasting pop music while driving around town. He had a strong interest in health and wellness (including Polar Plunges!), cooking, home improvement projects, and staying connected with friends and family. His recall of details about family stories amazed us all! He will be in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life will be held at New Branches - Spirit of St. Stephen’s Catholic Community located at 5011 S 31st Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417 on July 13th from 1-4pm.
