David James Clarke

David James Clarke 55, passed away on the morning of April 15th, 2026 due to cardiac complications. He was born on January 9th, 1971 in Augusta, Maine to William and Susan (Dutil) Clarke.

Dave was a lifelong avid sports fan. Playing multiple sports through his youth & school years, he continued this passion through many years of bar-league softball, pool, and dart leagues. He passed his love of sport and competition to both of his daughters, coaching their soccer and softball teams from youth.

Dave enjoyed 16 additional years with his father due to the gift of a heart transplant. We are thankful that his circumstances allowed him to donate himself, with the potential to benefit over 300 individuals. He was a strong advocate that anyone that can, should participate as a donor themselves.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and son Brandon Clarke. He is survived by his daughters Harmony (Sam Freeman) Clarke, Sydni Clarke, former wife Jodie Lancour, and his sister Shelly Clarke and her children Jonathan and Kaitlyn Walsburg.

Per David's wishes there will not be formal services. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 2nd, 2026 from 1-5pm at the Belgian Club in Superior, WI.
