life story
Dave was a story teller and would take you on a grand adventure with him just by sharing the stories of his youth.
David John Fudally
Dave was born on June 18th, 1951 to Thomas and Lenore Fudally. Dave had three sisters and two brothers and was one of the youngest.
Dave had the biggest heart. He was a coach in so many different aspects of life. He would always say "Keep throwing strikes Cody!" Meaning always do your best, you have other people around you to help you out. He meant so much to so many people and touched so many different lives.
He was a historian, helping to create a park called Camp Coldwater and spent many years studying the history of Minnesota. He loved hiking down at the Mississippi river with all of his kids and their friends. His passion for classic cars was something else! As a family driving to the Back to the Fifties car show in his 1958 Impala, and always having a story about every car he saw. "This was the first car I drove when I was 10 years old."
Dave always loved talking about family and friends telling all the stories about growing up in the good old days. He was a story teller and it always felt like you were right there with him.
Dave loved spending time fishing up north at Sugar Lake where the family cabin was and also enjoyed hunting with his father and brothers and sisters. Everything from planning vacations up north to just simply taking the boat on the lake or throwing a line in the water, Dave always tried to make sure that everyone had a good time.
He will be missed and hopefully his grand adventures will live on in his stories.

Come and honor Dave's life with us, share a story or two in one of his favorite places.
Instead of a formal service we felt that we would do what Dave did best and share stories with each other. One memory leads to another and another so come and share your with us.
We will meet where the stone arches are. There is a small Handicap lot otherwise it is street parking that is metered and additional metered lots a little bit farther down the road.
