Loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend

David passed peacefully at home, in Watertown, MN., surrounded by family after battling cancer. David was born in Great Falls, Montana. His parents were Walter Mills Jr and Judith Howley.

Survived by his wife April, three stepsons, two step-grandkids, his son, his daughter, his sister and sister-in-law.

Loving Outgoing Man

David Mills was a hands-on type of man who enjoyed carpentry as his job, but as well at home with his family. He had a quick whit and sharp tongue that kept you on your toes. Very friendly and made friend with everyone, everywhere he went. Huge people person!

David was very proud of the time he grew up in Africa with his parents and siblings. He had great opportunities to travel often with his family throughout life. Enjoyed all outdoor activities including, hunting, fishing, camping, and especially a bonfires whether it's 80 degrees outside or snow on the ground.

David and April, they had a great loving friendship that turned into a loving relationship. They got engaged a couple years before setting the wedding date of April 20th, 2024. With David's quick progression of cancer, they moved the wedding up as hopes of spending time as husband and wife before his passing. They had a beautiful, intimate wedding with family and friends on March 24th, 2024. Family and friends expressed how they matched and clashed at the same time, but kept each other inline.

He will be greatly missed by many people that he has impacted over life with his big personality!
