David Lee Forbes, 70, passed away on June 26, 2024, at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. Born on January 30, 1954, in St. Paul, MN, David lived a fulfilling life marked by his enduring devotion to his wife, Dee Forbes, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage filled with cherished memories.

He loved to travel and explore new places and new cuisine. From driving down the coast to California, or visiting the beautiful Mount Hood, Oregon, but his all time favorite was frontier land in Disneyworld, that was his childhood dream. He loved just relaxing on his front deck with his dogs and passing the day away chatting with the neighbors.

A celebration of David’s life is scheduled for September 29, 2024, at the Oakdale Nature Preserve, located at 4444 Hadley Ave N, Oakdale, from 1:30 to 4:00 with the service starting at 2:00. His legacy of love and joy will forever live in the hearts of those he touched. David is survived by his beloved wife, Dee Forbes. His Brother Patrick Forbes (Mary) His children David, Lori Ebert (Dean Ebert) Anthony Hunt (Nadine Hunt) Erin Hunt, Courtney Saver (Jesse Saver) and his grandchildren, Rhiannon, Ravyn, Olivia, Grayson and Benny. Great grandchildren, Alena, Benny Jr, Seamus, Lucas. And Great great granddaughter Rochelle.

His passing is a profound loss, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
