Daniel Thomas Gibson Sr.

Daniel Thomas Gibson Sr age 78, of East St. Paul, passed away on October 31, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who loved him dearly.

Dan was a funny, caring, and devoted family man. He had a great sense of humor and a way of making people laugh. More than anything, Dan loved his family. He was the kind of man who would do absolutely anything for the people he loved, always putting them first and making sure they knew they could count on him.

Some of Dan’s happiest moments were spent enjoying the simple things in life. He loved bowling with his granddaughter Melissa and playing horseshoes with his brothers. Those times were about more than just the games; they were about laughter, friendship, family, and memories that will last forever.

Dan also loved spending time looking for the Winter Carnival medallions and going to Wisconsin, where he enjoyed fishing and spending time around the bonfire. Those trips and adventures held a special place in his heart and gave him many memories to treasure.

Dan leaves behind his loving wife of going on 61 years, Judith B Gibson; his sons, Daniel Thomas Gibson Jr. and Joseph M Gibson; his granddaughters, Melissa, Krystan and Alyssa and 3 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Pat, Billy (Bonnie) Mike, Bobby (Carrie) and Jimmy; his sister, Sharon; brothers and sisters in-law, Frank & Roxie Biedler, Doug, and Betty; Cats, Sweetie and Rocky and many nieces and nephews, friends whose lives he touched.

Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Sr; mother, Helen; sister, Cheryl; brothers, David, Donny & Kenneth Jr and sister, Judy.

Though Dan may no longer be with us, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Above all, he was a man who loved his family and would do anything for them.

Rest easy, Dan. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
