Dale Fredrick Sharp age 77 passed away on August 30, 2022 in Ramsey, Minnesota from complications due to Alzheimer’s.

Dale was born on November 20, 1944 in Wadena, MN to Ed and Lucille Sharp. Dale grew up in the Sebeka, MN area on the family farm. He graduated in 1963 from Sebeka High School. He met and later married Geraldine Sakkinen on December 5, 1964. Together they had two daughters Susan and Rolanda. In the families early years they lived in their home town until finally settling in the Northern Suburbs of Minneapolis.

Dale worked construction for several companies in his early years and then later started D&G Drywell where he worked the rest of his career being self-employed. He took pride in every job he did and it always had to be perfect.

Dale enjoyed spending most of his time with his family. He coached the girls in softball, loved bowling on a league, going to the casino and playing cards with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting with his nephews, brothers and son in-law.

Dale and Geraldine were joined at the hip and were rarely found apart. Over the years they took many family trips, where Dale always enjoyed having extended family come along. For years, a lot of those trips were up north to his family home, where he loved spending time with his family and in-laws, which Dale was always proud to call family.

In retirement Dale continued spending most of his time with his family and always stayed busy doing remodeling projects. Dale particularly loved spending time with his grandkids and going to both Garrett and Brady’s sporting events and loved the visits from his granddaughter Miranda. After Alzheimer’s had set in, Geraldine would still bring Dale to go watch the boys sports events.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; daughters, Susan (Robert) & Rolanda (Paul); grandchildren, Miranda, Garrett & Brady; brothers, Tom (Gloria) & Jack (Valerie); as well as 4 bonus grandchildren; several God children; numerous brothers- & sisters-

in-law; as well as nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Lucille; his sister, Pat; and brother, Jim.
