Loving Wife, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia O’Donnell, age 68 on March 11th, 2025. Cindy was a beloved wife, mom, grandma and great grandma

Cindy was born to Carl and Gladys Erickson of Minneapolis on September 17, 1956.

Cindy married the love of her life Tom O’Donnell on June 28, 1985. Together they raised 5 children, Christine, Carrie, Paul J., Jessica and Jaime.

Cindy dedicated her life not only to her own children, but to many children as an

in-home daycare provider and foster mom.

Cindy enjoyed gardening, loved music, dancing, a good game night and family trips to Florida. However Cindy’s biggest joy came from family getting together,

and seeing all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing together.

Cindy is proceeded in death by her parents and all 5 of her siblings, Shirley, Donna, Carol, Linda and Dale as well as 2 son in laws Randy Freitag and Mike Layeux.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband Tom O’Donnell. Children Christine Layeux, Carrie Rondo (Dylan Thompson), Paul J. Meyer, Jessica (Shane) Kruse,

Jaime (Brian) Neumann. Grandchildren Kristen (Luke) Johnson,

Brandon (Elayna) Freitag, Courtney Kruse (Jack Frojd), Chloe (Gabe) Ryan,

Molly Meyer, Mason Kruse, Dylan Sylte, Anastasia & Aurora Neumann as well as several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

A Private service will be held by family at a later date.
