About Cindy
Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Clark, 68, of Edina, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, surrounded by her family, following several years of living with cancer. Cindy was born on April 21, 1958 in Fontana, California, to Doris Clark and the late Richard “Dick” Clark.
Cindy was a loving mother that lived life on her own terms. She was a vibrant voice who always spoke her mind. She had a fierce honesty that, while it occasionally got her into trouble, ensured everyone always knew exactly where they stood with her.
Above all, Cindy cherished her family. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren and loved spoiling them with cookies, toys and the special treasures she found on her adventures. She visited them often and they came to anticipate her arrival with the familiar and excited question, “What did you bring me?”
Although Minnesota had been her home for quite some time, Cindy frequently enjoyed escaping the harsh winters and spending time in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She enjoyed the sunshine, walking the beach in search of seashells and building a close community of friends during her winters there. She also had a love for thrift store outings, where she could often be found searching for special treasures to bring home to the people she loved.
Cindy was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her mother, Doris Clark; her three sons, Nathan Studer (Kirsten), Paul Studer (Stephanie) and Michael Studer (Molly); her cherished grandchildren, Anastasia, Stella, Sophie, Cullen, Lorraine and Beckham; her sister, Catherine Prokopowicz (Phillip); her brother, Michael Clark (Elaine); and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Clark; and her three children, Paul, Jennifer and Joshua, who all passed away in infancy.
Cindy will always be remembered for her strong spirit, her generous heart, her love of family, her unmistakable personality and the joy she found in the simple things—sunshine, seashells and time spent with the people she loved.
