November 12, 1975 – December 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Wayne Fillmore, 50, who left us unexpectedly on December 10, 2025. Craig was born on November 12, 1975, in American Falls, Idaho, and was the fourth of nine children in his family.

Craig lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those around him. A devoted father to three sons and two daughters with Melissa Fillmore, Craig’s love for his family was immeasurable. His family also includes two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and four beloved grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory.

Known for his kindness, generosity, and an infectious sense of humor, Craig had a knack for lighting up any room he entered. His warmth and goofiness were matched only by his altruism. He was always the first to volunteer his time - whether it was helping set up events, supporting charities, or providing a home for anyone who needed it. His door was always open and he would give anyone the shirt off his back, even when he had little to give. Craig’s strong work ethic was evident in all he did, from his job to his personal commitments. He took pride in the work he did and never shied away from putting in the hours to ensure he gave his best.

From an early age, Craig’s passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, shaped much of his life. His athleticism was a source of pride, and he once boasted about his ability to still dunk a basketball at age 30 - an accomplishment he proudly proved. He played football well into his thirties, confidently claiming he "definitely could’ve gone pro” in a couple of different sports. His competitive spirit and dedication were reflected not only in sports but in everything he did, from his career to the personal relationships he nurtured.

In addition to his passion for sports, Craig loved bodybuilding, coaching, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for life that showed in the way he celebrated holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings. Craig was known for his sense of humor - always telling jokes at the most unexpected moments, yet leaving everyone around him in stitches. He was a great father, son, brother, and partner, and his love and care for those he held dear were always evident.

Craig was engaged to Melissa Jerome, and together, they built a life filled with love and the joy of their shared routine and adventures. The couple was blessed with many fur babies, all of whom were cherished as part of their family. His family will miss him deeply, but they find comfort in the many cherished memories they have of him.

A celebration of Craig’s life will be held on Friday, December 19th, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Ridgeline Drive in Kennewick, WA. In lieu of flowers, cards and donations can be sent to the address of 4106 Phoenix Ln. Pasco, WA 99301.

Craig leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. He will be missed beyond measure, but the light he brought into our lives will never fade.
