life story

Loving mother, grammy, wife, daughter, and sister

Connie spent a lifetime caring for others, and the love she gave will live on for generations.

Connie Marie Wrenn, née Everhart, was a loving mother, Grammy, daughter, wife, and sister whose life was defined by caring for others. She passed away on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and memories that will be cherished forever.

Connie spent her life taking care of people, both through her lifelong career as a dedicated nurse and in the way she loved her family. Nursing was more than a job to Connie; it was a calling. She had a special place in her heart for the tiniest patients, and caring for premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) was one of her greatest joys. Her compassion and nurturing spirit made caring for others a natural part of who she was.

Above all, Connie was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother and a proud Grammy to her six grandchildren, who brought so much joy to her life.

She was also a devoted daughter who cherished her mother. After spending 40 years away from Minnesota, Connie returned home to spend her retirement with her beloved mom, Gertrude. Coming back home gave her the opportunity to be close to her mother and spend this chapter of her life surrounded by her mother and siblings.

Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis L. Wrenn.

She is survived by her son, Chris Peterson; her daughter, Amy West (Steve); her six grandchildren, Brandon Peterson, Allison Peterson, Katie Peterson, Dylan Peterson, Jackson West, and Wyatt West; her mother, Gertrude Everhart; and her siblings Cindy Fuchs, Corie Floding, Steve Everhart, Glen Everhart, and Kevin Everhart.

Connie's life was a testament to the power of a caring heart. She spent her career caring for patients, her days loving her family, and her life making a difference in the lives of others. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Time spent together will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.
