life story

Claudia E Heitman (Burns) was the youngest of 3 children born on April 25, 1947, in Portland Oregon to Jack and Elsa Burns. She departed this life on May 9, 2021 at the age of 74 after battling many years with COPD. She is survived by Rodney Heitman, Greg Heitman (son), Tonya Adler (daughter), sister Carolyn Azar, brother Clifford Burns and grandchildren. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Elsa Burns.

Claudia worked at Econo Foods Grocery in Red Wing, MN in the deli department for many years. Claudia retired when her health would no longer allow her to work. She loved to play cards, watch football (Vikings fan),loved old movies and shows on tv especially law shows and played on a bowling team for many years. Claudia loved her cat Shadow who was her sole companion for 8 years, she was very concerned about his care after she passed. Her brother Cliff and wife Deborah promised to care for Shadow. Claudia will be dearly missed by family and friends.
