About Clarice
Clarice Lavonne Fiskari, 69, of Duluth, Minnesota died on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Duluth.
Clarice was born on March 9, 1954 in Cass Lake, Minnesota to John H. and Elsie (Skunk) Bush. The family lived in various communities, following John’s logging career. Clarice attended school in Bagley, MN.
She moved to Cook, MN to be with her sister, Rose, and it was there she met Larry Fiskari. They were married in 1977 and had three children together, Linnea, Larissa, and Jonathan. Together they made a home in Cook. They later divorced. Clarice then moved to Virginia and then to Duluth to be amongst family.
Clarice was a quiet person until you got to know her, then she would surprise you with her humor. She loved picking rhubarb and green plums to eat, savoring the sour taste. She loved to play cribbage and cards, especially whist tournaments. Her favorite music was country, especially the classic old country music. She enjoyed going to Pow Wows and being around her family, especially her grandchildren when she got the chance. Clarice was a happy and spiritual person, loved by all her family.
Clarice is survived by her children, Linnea Fiskari of Duluth and Jonathan Fiskari of Bagley; 21 grandchildren; her sisters, Rose Hooper of Duluth and Lucille Noll of Mahnomen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Larissa Fiskari; her parents, John and Elsie Bush; her sister Joyce Guinn; her brothers, Emery Bush, William Bush, Ivan Bush and Donald “Bunny” Bush; her nieces, Dianne Olson, Maria Guinn, Dakota Marks, Rose Lavonne Bush, and Laura Bush; her nephew, Roy Guinn, Jr.; and her boyfriend, Mark Todd.
“Little Woman” will be dearly missed.
