Clara Young, 101, of Bagley, Minnesota died on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Cornerstone Residence in Bagley, MN.

Clara was born on November 15, 1920 the daughter of Julius and Mathilda (Lee) Halvorson. Clara lived in Clearwater County most of her life. She graduated from Roseau High School in 1939. Clara married Donald Young on December 11, 1944 at Bagley, Minnesota. They lived Bagley where they moved to a farm north Bagley.

After Donald died in 1955, Clara moved to Parksview Apartments in Bagley. Clara was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and reading. Clara’s strong faith was a cornerstone of her life. She lived her love of Jesus.

She is survived by her son – Robert (Holly) Young of Bemidji, Minnesota

Daughter – Janice (David) Hagen of Sutherlin, Oregon

7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her 6 siblings.
