Memories of her smile and love will live in our hearts forever.

Claire was the true definition of a kind and caring friend. While she fought thru so many physical challenges, she never hesitated to ask how YOU were doing first & listened to your response.

She immediately made friends wherever she went because she sincerely cared about others. She was loved by all and will be truly missed. Rest in peace our beautiful fighter. God welcomed another angel to the party upstairs! 😇

Claire was an amazing gift giver!

Claire loved shopping and excelled at finding the best treasures at secondhand stores.

Her gifts were priceless because she remembered your favorite colors, your random likes and dislikes and never forgot them.

She was very generous and always planning on how to surprise you for holidays or just because she could.

It gave her so much joy.

Claire LOVED food!

Whether it was growing her own vegetables, going to a Farmers Market, researching recipes in cookbooks or online, cooking, or knowing all the best restaurants; she enjoyed the adventure of food. One of her foodie favorites was following Li Ziqi and Country Life in rural Sichuan, China, online.

Tomatoes!

Claire shared our Dad's love of growing tomatoes. While living at Norridge Gardens in 2021 she planted some seeds from our garden tomatoes that she had eaten. Unbelievable to all, they grew in her window there. They were huge plants but didn't produce tomatoes even though Claire coached them daily. I brought them back to my garden this summer and planted them. We definitely have tomatoes now and will think of Claire when we eat them!
