Clair Emery Erickson, 72, Park Rapids, MN passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, who stayed ever by his side during his valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Clair was born to Emery and Clara (Peterson) Erickson on July 21, 1949 in Wadena, MN. He married his true love, Jana Fillman, on August 9, 1970 in Berrien Springs, MI.

Sacred music was woven into his entire life, he always had a song in his heart and one for every occasion. He participated in many musical groups, touring for many years with the Golden Street Quartet. He was a charter member of the Park Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church, and praised the Lord for His faithfulness to the very end.

He served for almost 40 years as an administrator at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home, which became Greenwood Connections in Menahga. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father and grandfather who was extremely proud his family.

Clair is survived by his wife, Jana Erickson of Park Rapids; children, Lowell (Heidi) Erickson, Karen (Leslie) Franke, Tricia (Thomas) Graham, Tanya (Toby “TJ”) Imler, and Kevin Erickson; brother, Vern (Sharon) Erickson; his beloved grandchildren, Jaden and Jordan Franke, Ellianna and Kian Graham, Eilef and Henrik Imler; many nieces and nephews and their children; and many wonderful friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Clara Erickson; and brother, Dale Erickson.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Internment will be at Henrietta Cemetery directly following the service.
