Cindy Renae (Harrington) Hajder

Cindy Hajder (née Harrington) passed away peacefully the morning of Sept 4, 2023 with her husband of 46 years, Brian, by her side.

Cindy was born in Huron, SD to Meg and Ione Harrington where she grew up with her 11 siblings. Cindy moved to the Minneapolis area in 1977 after marrying Brian Hajder, settling in Crystal, MN where they would live for over 40 years. Cindy and Brian eventually moved to Plymouth, MN where they enjoyed several years of retirement together.

A dedicated mother, Cindy raised three children: Michelle (spouse: Pete Boulger), Andy (partner: Jessica Segner) and Amanda (spouse: Jeremy Trafton). She devoted countless hours volunteering her time in the Robbinsdale Public School District, eventually accepting an official job with the district and worked in various roles for many years.

In 2008, Cindy welcomed her first grandchild, Bella, and two years later, in 2010, her second grandchild, Addy. She embraced the role as grandma and cherished spending time with them, including volunteering to provide daycare and hosting countless fun-filled sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Cindy will be greatly missed by so many family and friends. Per her request, there will be no funeral or service. Instead we ask you to help spread Cindy's spirit of generosity and selflessness by assisting others in need in any way you can.
