Loving son and father

Christopher W. Scott, age 66, of 350 Haws Lane, Flourtown, Pa departed this world to be with the Lord, on 5 September 2011 at Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. Chris was the son of the late Cyrus Joseph Scott and the late Geraldine Hayes Scott-Thomas. He was a veteran of the US Army and served his country for 12 years. He loved to sing, laugh, tell jokes, cook and did what he could to help others. He loved God. His oldest brother. Cyrus Roscell Scott Sr, preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters; Diane (Vinson) Curtis of Arlington, Texas and Nakoma S. Scott of Desert Hot Springs, California. One brother Maj Kenneth (Debra) Scott of Bear, DE. Three sister’s: Joyce L. Brown, Richmond, Va; Saundra D. Lunn, Philadelphia, Pa; Roxanne A. Brooks, Elizabeth City, NC; step-mother Jean Scott. Philadelphia. Pa; four grandchildren: Brandon G Scott, Phoenix, AZ; Sashe L. Butler and Vincent L. Butler, both of Denton, TX and Kayhle’ D. Curtis, Arlington, TX. Four nieces: Lorin D. Brown, New York, NY; Susan L. Stradone (Jason), Henrico, VA; Adrienne R. Cater, Philadelphia, PA and Tiffany A. Morris, Elizabeth City, NC. Three nephews: Trevor C. (Angela) Brown, Fuquay-Varina, NC; Cyrus R. Scott II (Madeline) and Troy C. Smith (Dorlisa), Philadelphia, PA. He leaves behind a special friend, Elgee, Philadelphia, PA. He also leaves to cherish his memory: two great-great nephew’s, one great-great niece; two great nephew’s and two great niece’s. He also leaves a host of cousin’s, other relatives and friends.

Saundra D. (Bebe) Lunn, born June 18-1940 and departed this life April 30, 2022 in Philadelphia, PA.

Bebe was the second oldest born to the late Cyrus Joseph Scott and the late Geraldine Hayes Scott-Thomas. She attended Girls High High School in Philadelphia, PA. At a young age, she married and had one son , Troy C. Smith and divorced then married and had one daughter Adrienne R. Cater.

She moved to Newport News, Virginia for a while where she was employed at the Newport News Shipyard. Later she moved back to Philadelphia , PA where she lived until she transitioned to her Heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her eldest brother Cyrus R. Scott and her brother Christoper W. Scott.

She loved God, her children and loved to cook, laugh and dance. Her favorite dance was “the stroll”.

She leaves to cherish her memory; two children Troy C. Smith and Adrienne R. Cater both of Philadelphia, PA. Two sister’s: Joyce L. Brown, Richmond, VA and Roxanne A. Brooks, Elizabeth City, NC; one brother Kenneth J. Scott (Debra), Bear, DE.

Two granddaughters: Leigha T. Smith and Alonnah D. Washington both of Philadelphia, PA; two grandsons: Bryant K. Cater, Philadelphia, PA and Leland T. Smith. CA.; two great grand daughters: Heighley , Philadelphia, PA and Amelia Smith , CA.
