Drugs told him, “I can make you feel accepted, I can make you feel alright, I can make you feel worthy, I can make you feel normal, I make you feel loved and I can make you feel nothing and make you feel like everything will be okay.’

But everything wasn’t okay.

On February 13, 2022, Chris succumbed to his drug addiction. Chris fought a long hard battle with drugs. Some months he would be clean and sober and for others he would be on a bender. His demons worsened after the death of his mother, Shirley, in Jan of 2021.

His is survived by his daughter Alexis and her mother Christyne, his brothers Mark and Thomas. He is also survived by his 3 aunts (Susan, DeeDee and Donna) and his 2 uncles ( Raymond and Richard). He leaves behind many cousins and friends.

He never knew his real father. His only real father figure passed away in 2001.

Chris was the light in so many peoples lives. Just wish he could have saw that.
