life story

In loving memory

Christopher Ganley Struble, 59, of Deephaven, MN, passed away peacefully in his home after a courageous battle with ALS on February 22, 2026. Chris found great joy hanging with his family, playing on and in Lake Minnetonka, cruising in his classic 1966 Lincoln Continental, spoiling the family pups (Copper, Layla, and Jasper), sipping coffee with his FedEx co-workers, and catching up with his Annunciation crew. He was a proud “Shark,” having made the New Year’s Day ALARC Polar Plunge 17 times.

Chris joins his father, Edward; mother, Joanne (nee Ganley); sister, Patty; brother, Nick; and brothers-in-law, Brian, Denny and Brian, in heaven. He is survived by his beloved wife, Michele; children, Lexi (Connor Clure), Isaac, and Mia; siblings, Mary Jo Brouillard, Susan Mart, Liz (Dave) DeGrood, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family, friends & coworkers.

Special thanks

The family greatly thanks the Minnesota ALS Association, the HealthPartners ALS/Neurology Clinic, and Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Hospice for going above and beyond in guiding, supplying, and supporting us during this journey.
