About Christine

Christine George, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2021, at the hospital after suffering long term health complications.

She was born in Ohio, and grew up in Damascus, MD, before moving to a small town outside of Birmingham, AL, where she spent the majority of her adulthood.

Christine had a passion for art, particularly sketching and painting the horses she used to ride when she was young, among various other arts and crafts. She also enjoyed working with animals, was a great listener, and had compassion for others.

Christine is survived by her children, Michelle and Kimberly Jordy, Stephen Merchant, and Bradley Daly; son-in-law, James Beary; future son-in-law, Eric Townsend; grandchildren, Avia and Cayde; siblings Lori Hurwitz and Wes George; sister-in-law, Cathy George.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ben and Nancy George, whom she has now joined in heaven.
