Christina Barela Limper age 75 peacefully passed away on October 20, 2022 at Modesto Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Christina was born in Socorro, New Mexico on January 27,1947 to Jesus and Clorinda (Esquibel) Barela. Christina is survived by her sons Jess Limper and Chris Limper as well as well as her grandson, Matthew Limper. She is also survived by her sister Minnie Torres (Paul), brothers Frank Barela (Rosie), Raymond Barela(Patty) and Clarence Barela (Angela) Aunt Lillian Abeyta and many nieces,nephews,cousins and friends. Christina was preceded in death by her loving spouse of 43 years, the love of her life,Pete Limper her granddaughter, Alexis Christina Limper, her parents Jesus Barela and Clorinda Miller,Brother in law Paul Torres and nephew Charles Torres. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday October 27th, followed by à rosary at Riverbank Memorial chapel in Riverbank, CA. A mass will be held on Friday October 28, at 10:00 am at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Riverbank. Burial will take place in the St. Stanislas Catholic Cemetary.
