Charles “Charlie” Price, 42, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on July 29, 2025.

Charlie was born on April 19, 1983, in Oberlin, Ohio, to Herman Price and Karen Arthur. A free spirit with a big heart, Charlie found joy in music, nature, and meaningful connections with those around him.

He was a loving father to his two children, Felicity Price (23) and Gavin Price (21), who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his father Herman Price, and siblings Jared Price, Guy Long, Julie Long, and Marcy Long. Charlie was preceded in death by his beautiful and devoted mother, Karen Ann Arthur.

Charlie’s greatest joy came from the rhythms of reggae and the energy of live music. He was a familiar and beloved face at many music festivals, where he not only enjoyed the performances but also built lasting friendships with the bands he followed. Whether sharing new music with someone he cared about or having deep late-night conversations, Charlie always sought connection.

He found peace in the simple beauty of nature—watching desert storms roll in, or heading to the mountains to take in the views. Charlie had a playful, goofy side that lit up any room, always ready to make someone laugh.

As a family, we find comfort in knowing that he has been welcomed home by his beloved mother, Karen Arthur, who surely greeted him with open arms.
