About Charlie...

Charlie, as he was known to all, was born in Boston, MA on January 17, 1940. He was the mischievous younger brother to John, whilst along his side he developed his passion for creatures, the outdoors, and fishing. Childhood adventures at Fawn Pond were encouraged by his mother and father, John and Dee.

Adventure continued along his journey throughout adulthood. Charlie was a skilled welder and pipe-fitter by trade. Following the work to provide for his family, he helped build some of America’s finest infrastructure across New England and Alaska. One of his hobbies was to apply his welding skills to creating unique belt buckles…prized by all who were lucky enough to had one made. Many co-workers became true lifelong friends including Bill, Russell, Jack, and Ray.

Charlie’s love of animals has been passed down to his daughter and grand-daughters, Christine, Courtney, and Alexandra. His obsession with fishing was shared with several close fools, who know who they are, and handed down the line to his son, grandsons, and great granddaughter, Todd, Sean, Ben, and Kori. Other fine Parker traits have been passed down as well…and embraced (or tolerated as the case may be) by the spouses including Chris, Narges, and Kami.

Charlie will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Rest in peace Dad.
