life story
Beloved Father, Son, Brother, and Friend
Chuck Mohler, Jr. died in Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 3, 2026 — the city where his story began and the community that remained the ground beneath his feet throughout his life. He was 51.
Born on August 11, 1975, in Minneapolis, Chuck spent his life rooted in the place he knew so well. The streets, neighborhoods, and daily rhythms of Minneapolis formed the backdrop to a life shaped by work, music, friendship, and conviction. He attended Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minnesota, and went on to build his working life in a craft both steady and hands-on, serving as Manager & Bread Baker at Baker's Field Flour and Bread in Minneapolis.
Just as meaningful as his work were the countless connections he made along the way. Those who knew Chuck also knew a person described as cool, funny, caring, and loyal. He was known for making friends everywhere he went. Whether through conversation, shared humor, or simply spending time together listening to tunes, he brought a warm and memorable presence to ordinary moments. He had a way of turning a passing exchange into a genuine connection, and that gift became one of the many bright parts of his legacy.
By far, the most important connection in his life was to his son, Chuck (C3). Becoming a father brought him so much love and joy. He was so proud of the young man he is, and who he will become.
Chuck will be remembered in the city he knew so well, in the music he loved, in the friendships he built, and in the many everyday moments made better by his presence. His memory remains in shared songs, good conversations, and the lasting echo of a life that brought warmth and character to the world around him. May his memory rest gently and endure.
Chuck is survived by his son Charles Mohler III; ex-wife Jennifer Charron; mother Gail Pinola and stepfather John Pinola; sister Christina Mohler; and stepmother Kathy Mohler. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Mohler Sr.
