Cary Gene Koehnle of St. Paul, Minnesota died peacefully on February 9, 2024 at the age of 53, surrounded by his three loving children.

While we lost our beloved dad, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He was a master at sarcastic humor and had an uncanny ability to make everyone he knew laugh, even in his last few days here on Earth. There was so much more to him than just dad, though to us that was his greatest roll - he was also a friend, a coworker and colleague, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, an accomplished carpet layer, a motocross enthusiast, the list goes on and on.

Cary is survived by his three loving children Bryanna (David) Parmentier, Brandon (Kayla) Koehnle, Brett (Marquee) Koehnle ; his three grandchildren, Emmaline and David August Parmentier, and Brooks Koehnle; his two brothers Ron (Laurie) Koehnle and Greg (Kitty) Koehnle; and his step-mother Louella Koehnle. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Gloria Koehnle, and brother Dean Koehnle.

A visitation is scheduled for 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Rush City, with a ceremony to follow at 11am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cary’s life.
