Carolyn (Abraham) Vorderbruggen, 83, of Bagley, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab in Bagley, Minnesota.

Carolyn was born in Bagley, Minnesota on June 20, 1939, the daughter of Ralph “Jim” and Marie (Hagen) Abraham. She grew up in the Minerva area, attending the Minerva School through the 8th grade and then graduating from Bagley High School in 1957.

On June 28th, 1958 she married Donald Vorderbruggen and together they had 3 sons.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, country music, watching the Minnesota Twins, and going to garage sales to find a bargain. She also liked gardening and canning what she got from it. Carolyn was well known for refinishing furniture and to her last days could tell you where she got a piece of furniture and how many coats of paint she stripped to get it refinished.

She is survived by her sons, Rick (Nancy) Vorderbruggen and Dan (Carol) Vorderbruggen; four grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald; her son, Mark; and her parents.
