It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Carol passed away peacefully in her home with her 3 children by her side at the age of 76.

Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to her three children, six grandchildren, five siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the heart of our family and touched the lives of everyone she knew. She bound us together with her infinite love and support, and could always be counted on for a great meal! Some of our fondest memories were made while gathered around the dinner table with all the family – dogs included!

Her family meant everything to her, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with them, celebrating milestones, and creating lasting memories. She was our biggest cheerleader and was a constant presence at every game, concert, and activity, so much so that she was called "grandma" by many of her grandchildren's friends and teammates.

She was funny, smart, hardworking, and generous, always sharing her spunky personality with everyone she crossed paths with. She was a fashionista and shopper supreme, showering her family with gifts and stylish clothes. She had an eye for design evidenced by her house full of "treasures" and could always be counted on for a good conversation, especially if it included her grandchildren!

She was incredibly brave and one of the strongest people you would ever come across. She faced her many health challenges with an inconceivable strength, always fighting for another day to spend with her family.

She is survived by sister Marty Bockoven, her children Heidi Winsor (Marc), Holly O'Konski (Jeff) and Shannon Voigt (Miranda), her grandchildren Alex, Jaden, Briella, Katelynnd, Bailey and Ayden, as well as many friends and extended family.

Carol / Mom / Grandma is no longer with us, but the love she gave and the memories we shared will be in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of her life will be held this summer. Details to be announced at a later date.
