Carol Elizabeth Tahtinen

Carol Elizabeth Tahtinen (née Mason) age 72, passed away suddenly August 4, 2024. Carol was born in Duluth, MN on October 20, 1951 to Donald and Dorothy Mason. She grew up there and graduated from Denfeld High School. Later married her husband Wayne and moved to Coon Rapids, MN.

Carol was a caregiver. She loved to take care of everyone, and feed them! She enjoyed cooking and baking goodies for family, friends and neighbors. Some of them called her "Carol Crocker" because everything was "so good" in her words. She loved her shopping and lunch outings with her daughter, Tara. The light of her life was spending time with her 9 year old grandson, Brooks. It was always a new adventure with him!

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Wayne, daughter Tara (Cory) Nechkash, grandson Brooks, granddaughter Andrea (Sam), great granddaughter Bella, sister Sandy (Tom), several nieces, many great nieces and nephews and her many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Midge Anderson.
