Candi Renee Diaz (Tano)

Candi Renee Diaz (Tano) (68) of St. Paul, MN peacefully passed away in her home on April 3rd

2024. She is survived by her husband, Joe Diaz; her brother Ross (Tina) Tano; her nephew

Derek Tano, and niece Jaclyn Tano; dear friends and compassionate caregivers, Jesus and

Alegria, as well as many other important loved ones. She is preceded in death by her loving

parents Bernard Tano and Betty Cole (Tano), as well as many other loved ones. Her kind

personality, sharp wit, and sense of humor always made where she was a fun place to be.

She spent her childhood in Richfield, MN, and later in life, resided in Inver Grove Heights,

Minneapolis, and Eagan where she lived with her first husband, Gary Quikstad, of 17 years.

Then finally settled in the east side of St. Paul, when she married her husband, Joe. Candi and

Joe had a loving marriage of nearly 25 years. She worked as an Accountant for the United

States Postal Service for 20 years, from 1978-1998. In her personal time, she was a dog-lover

who enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, and taking all of your quarters playing poker with friends

and family.
